Another baseball season has come to an end and it’s a little bittersweet. This year presented a new challenge for us because it was my youngest son’s first year playing so we were juggling two baseball schedules. Between the two boys we had four months of baseball for five days a week, AND my husband coached both teams, AND I was a Team Mom for one of them. Wow, it’s exhausting just writing all of that (whew)! We had so much fun with both teams and there’s no better way to end the season then with a great team party!!

The players just love chomping on Big League Chew during the games and it’s the cutest thing to see my 5-year old at first base with a huge wad in his mouth (hahaha)! This year I thought it’d be fun to incorporate Big League Chew into the baseball party theme, and the company was kind enough to send 30 packs of gum. Needless to say, the kids were excited!

Below, I’m sharing all the details of the event and providing links for the items so you can easily replicate this theme for your own team or birthday party.  You’ll also find all of the treat recipes I used too.  If you’d like more inspiration, here’s another baseball party I styled a few years ago.  If you have questions about either party, please comment below or email me and I’d be happy to answer!

Welcome to the 2018 Shetland Tigers team party!!

I snagged this star banner at the dollar store and then cut out my own letters for the front, and orange triangles to tape on the backs to represent the team colors. || Gum packs found here

The green grass tablecloth can be found here || I got lucky finding these star tablecloths at Michaels in their “Fourth of July” section but can’t find anything similar online. My first idea though was to order this check print which would’ve been cute too!

This holder came with a cake pop maker that I have and I use it all the time to display treats. || I grabbed the cute star tins on the $1 rack that’s always at the front of Target stores.

For events, I usually buy the party-size popcorn bag from Smart & Final. I found this great caramel corn at Trader Joes. Both of these treats are gluten-free. I like the kids to be able to scoop their own portion with a cup because it’s the easiest way to eat popcorn. || The orange cups can be found here

The easiest Rollo treats that I make for almost every occasion. They are simply pretzels with Rollos & peanut M&Ms. Find the recipe here on this post.

These are homemade sugar cookies that my mom helped me with. You can find the printable recipes for the sugar cookies and icing here on this post.

I love these printable water bottle labels because you buy them once for $4 and can print them as many times as you want. I will use these year after year. I found these on Etsy.

I love making themed chocolate lollipops for my events because they add such nice detail, the kids LOVE them, and they’re easier to do then you might think. || Baseball bat candy mold here & 6″ sticks here || Baseball lollipop mold here & 4″ sticks here || Candy melts here

I got lucky finding these star tablecloths at Michaels in their “Fourth of July” section but can’t find anything similar online. My first idea though was to order this check print which would’ve been cute too!

Every child took home one of these foam baseballs & a Big League Chew gum pack. Foam baseballs here || Big League Chew packs here

These player cards are the ones I used in the dugout during the season (read about them here). I like to clean them, use them as placemats, & then send each kid home w/ theirs as a memento. || Plates here || My first choice napkin (they were sold out at time) here || Napkin you see here

The league provided each child w/ a trophy & commemorative shirt that had the team rosters on the back. I just added some ribbon to up the cuteness factor!

Woot woot!!!!! Another great season in the books & this Team Mom is done… well, until next year!

Thanks for reading! xoxo, JB

Girl, you are superwoman through and through! I can’t believe you did all of this! You should be an events coordinator, you are amazing at it! I love all the little details you put into it to make it so special. Those boys have probably never had a party like that!

You are the absolute sweetest! I so appreciate your kind words. I’m not sure I’d like being an events coordinator… I don’t mind stressing over my own events, but I don’t want to have to stress over others’ too!! Haha!
