FLEECE PULLOVERS & PASTRIES

ADVENTURES FASHION

If you’re traveling to Mammoth Mountain or June Mountain in California for a ski weekend, then you’ll be needing two things for sure: a warm and fashionable fleece, and a pitstop at Schat’s Bakery.

When driving from Los Angeles you can either stop at the Schat’s Bakery in Bishop, CA or the location on Main Street in Mammoth. I’m gluten free and can’t partake in much of the fun (except the macaroons), but if you’re in the mood for fresh baked breads, pastries, sandwiches and cookies then you MUST stop and indulge. As my older son Sawyer says: “they have the best donuts I’ve ever had in my life.” Granted he’s only seven years old, but he knows his donuts!

With each of our trips to the snow the kids have become stronger and more competent skiers and it’s been so enjoyable to watch their progress. Skiing together as a family has become our most favorite activity to do together, and a wonderful bonding experience. Click here to read a review of our favorite ski spot!  Since we’re now heading up to the snow often, pullover fleeces have become a little addiction of mine. There are so many good ones with great fits and beautiful colors, and they keep me so warm. Luckily there are pretty good sales right now, but paying a little more for a high-quality fleece is okay too because they’re investment pieces that you can wear year after year.

Here I’ve linked the cotton candy fleece that I’m wearing in these photos, as well as the same style in a mint green color and they’re on FLASH SALE for $20!! I’m wearing a size small for reference. Another fave fleece is this charcoal and white one that I’m wearing below and it comes in a beautiful two-tone taupe color as well.

At the bottom of this post I’ve linked all the best fleeces of the season. Many of the styles come in multiple colors, so just click on each thumbnail pic and it will open to show you even more options. So grab your fleece pullover and a Schat’s pastry and you’re good to go! Haha!

Thanks for reading! xoxo, JB
