Thank goodness it’s Friday, right?! It’s been a long, eventful week over here. Although school doesn’t start for two more weeks, the boys’ fall sports have already started practices. EEKS! Summer is flying by too fast and the adjustment back into a hectic sport schedule has been a little rough for all of us. Here’s hoping next week gets a little easier.
Today on the blog I’m sharing how I styled one slip dress, two different ways. One look is casual and cool, while the other is a little sexier for a night out. It’s so great to have a piece in your closet that can be dressed up or down with ease. Truthfully, this slip dress can be styled 20 more ways, as I’m sure you’ll be seeing me do this fall!
Don’t be afraid to use animal or floral prints as a neutral background for other accessories, like a concert tee or sassy leather jacket. This leopard print dress was a part of the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and sold out really fast. Sizes get restocked sporadically every day but then quickly sell out again. The floral version of this dress is still available in all sizes and would also work great too. Below in the shopping carousel (open post in browser to see), I’ve linked both dress versions, as well as some other great leopard skirt and dress options. My Smashing Pumpkins tee is from an actual concert so it’s not available for purchase, but any fun band tee will work! I linked a bunch of my favorites below. A faux leather jacket is a necessity and I’ve had mine for many years. It’s so good, that the retailer releases a similar version every season and I linked it below!
When I head back to work, I already know I’ll be styling this dress a third way with a cozy cardigan sweater. Tell me below, which style is your favorite? Have a wonderful weekend and thanks for reading!
