Woo hoo it’s Friday, friends!! Unfortunately, when I went to originally post this article early Friday morning my website was down (soooo frustrating). I swear that technical problems go out of their way to find me because I have them so often… UGGHH! So, my hosting company has been working on the issue and I’m not sure exactly when it will be resolved, but hopefully this actually posts while it’s still indeed “Friday” (hahaha). Also, all of my outfit details are linked underneath the above photo, as well as at the very bottom of the post (open in browser to see). Below are some of the things that I’m excited about this week!

As you all know, I’m a huge lover of television! I studied it in college, I had a career in it, and most importantly… I watch a lot of it (hahaha)! Basically, my DVR is recording shows around the clock and then I just try to catch up on them whenever I find the time. But this week is one of my favorites of the year because the Entertainment Weekly Fall TV Preview issue was released. It details all of the new and returning television shows that are premiering over the next couple months and I mark my calendar accordingly. I realize I’m a bit of a TV geek and I’m totally okay with that (wink)!

I first saw this movie trailer many months ago and it brought me to tears and hasn’t left my mind. Maybe it’s because I have two little boys, or maybe it’s because I’m a sucker for a heart-wrenching drama, but either way, I feel compelled to see this movie. It’s based on a true story and scripted off of two separate books. This book that I’m reading above is the story written from the father’s perspective of trying to help his drug-addicted son, and this one is the son’s own memoir about his drug addiction. I just started the first book and am trying to finish it before the movie comes out on October 12th. Have any of you heard about this story or read the books?

Grey’s Anatomy is starting its 15th season next week with a 2-hour premiere on Thursday, September 27th at 8:00p on ABC. I’m a die-hard fan that’s never missed an episode since the series started so I can’t wait!

At this point, I don’t think there’s anyone in America who hasn’t seen This is Us. It’s an expertly crafted drama that has helped fill the voids that Parenthood and Friday Night Lights left me with when they both went off the air. The show returns this Tuesday, September 25th at 9:00p on NBC.

One of the few comedies I enjoy on network television is American Housewife. Maybe it’s because I myself am considered an “American housewife” and live in an area eerily similar to the one set in the show, but I thoroughly enjoy laughing at all of the funny observations and amazing ridiculousness! It returns on Wednesday, September 26th at 8:30p on ABC.

Last is a new show that I’m interested in checking out called A Million Little Things. It’s supposed to be a pull-at-the-heartstrings ensemble drama about a group of friends who suddenly lose someone in their circle. I’ll keep you posted on how I like it. The series premiere is this Wednesday, September 26th at 10:00p on ABC.

Please let me know what shows and movies you’re excited for this week. I’m always on the hunt for something new.

Thanks so much for reading! xoxo, JB
